INSATALLING WARCRAFT III : REIGN OF CHAOS:


Step1: 1st Place the CD in your CD drive and now open My Computers,Click on the icon of CD and install it..

Step2: Click "Install Warcraft III" When the warcraft III Setup opens.

Step3: Follow the instructions given afterwards. Accept the Terms of Agreement, after reading it definitely, and proceed to the next page.





Step4: Enter your name and unique CD Key, but I covered it for privacy. Click OK.The CD Key can be only be legally found at the box of your Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.



Step5: Enter the Installation directory...Click ok



Step6: Installation will now begin. It will take several seconds, so wait a while. After a few minutes, it should be done.



Step7: After successfully installing, it will prompt you to place a desktop shortcut. Not necessary, because you'll be playing Frozen Throne, not this.




INSTALLING WARCRAFT III :FROZEN THRONE

Step1:
You just installed Reign of Chaos. Take its CD out, place the TFT CD, and let's install The Frozen Throne. Click "Install Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne" when the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne Setup opens.Again, accept the terms of Agreement, after reading it.





Step2:
Enter your CD Key. Click OK.
The CD Key can be only be legally found at the box of your Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.



Step3:
Wait for the installation to finish successfully.

Step4:
Now this time you want to create a desktop shortcut.Click yes






PATCH INSTALLATION

Lets now download the patch...

To get the latest Patch Click here



You need to the download the full patch because you're starting from the very beginning. The patch version can be seen at the bottom-right corner of the opening menu when you start the game.




Open the patch you downloaded. It will do it's job after. When it's done, click OK. Uncheck the box if you want.



Note: When the patch starts installing, the screen will turn black. Then it will install by itself. After it's done, the screen will go back to normal.

The good thing about patch 1.26a, is that you don't need a CD to play the game

Congratulations! You now have the latest patch for DotA. It is 1.26a as of now.


Latest Maps Download :

To Download latest maps and AI maps for Dota Click Here



Step 1: After Downloading the Dota map...

Transfer the file to your warcraft directory..

C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\Download



The default directory is very important. Any tampering with it will have effects on WCGN and downloading from Warcraft, especially when playing with others.
Congratulations! You now have the latest map for DotA. It is 6.72f as of now.


Start Playing dota

But you have to adjust a few things as well...

1.Adjust your Video Settings.
2.GAMMA
3.RESOLUTION
4.ANIMATION QUALITY
5.TEXTURE QUALITY
6.PARTICLES
7.LIGHTS
8.UNIT SHADOWS
9.OCCLUSION
10.SPELL DETAIL



Play Online on Garena Client

1.Login in Garena Client

2.Enter any of the Garena Dota Room


Start the game...and join any server on LAN..
