Left 4 Dead 2: How can i play using garena?

Guys, i just downloaded L4D2, but it requires steam in order to play? My friend told me, it is possible w/o steam, can anyone kindly teach? Thanks.

If you wanna play in Garena, just go to Configurations in a chatroom of L4d2, then click the magnifier then choose your L4d2 executable file and the last and most importants step: HAVE FUN!

When i try to run L4D2 it says must have steam engine. What can i do?

i about to get left42 so, i been reading and in order to play in Garena u need a patch the latest i suppose u need to patch the game then the message u get saying u need Steam will stop showing. open Garena and look for L4D2 icon select it find the game.exe in ur directory and have fun

1-Download garena
2-Join left 4 dead 2 room
3-Start l4d2
4-join steam group server game




1-run left 4 dead 2
2-enable console
3-type "map c1m1 versus" in console
4-type "sv_cheats 1" in console
5-type "sb_all_bot_team 1" in console
6-Hit "M" on keyboard
7- select team

I don't quite remember, all I do remember is that I downloaded a lot of stuff, an update and some maps, maybe in the middle of all there was a no-steam fix or something.
Or maybe the update does it, yeah, i believe that was it.
